Two Women Promoted to Executive Positions of Authority at Physicians Plus Insurance Corporation
Promotions expected to create other career advancement opportunities
Continuing its path as one of the most progressive companies in Wisconsin, Physicians Plus Insurance Corporation has promoted two female Directors to executive positions.
“Today, people who strive to be the best can and should be recognized for their hard work and dedication despite gender, race or beliefs,” said Vice-President of Sales & Marketing Kathryne McGowan. “If you can get the job done, and do it well, you deserve advancement. That’s the culture we created at Physicians Plus a long time ago and these promotions are a continuing effort in that direction.”
Dawn Witek is currently the Senior Director of Finance. Dawn joined Physicians Plus in 2003, beginning her career there as an Internal Auditor. She earned a quick promotion to Director of Accounting, which is the title she held most recently.
Terri Lowe is now Senior Director of Operations. In 1993, Terri joined the staff in Provider Relations. She eventually worked in Systems Training and most recently held the title of Director of Business Processes (Operations).
“It speaks to the integrity and the dedication these women have to work their way up the ladder and be in a position to successfully provide Physicians Plus with critical skills,” McGowan said. “Dawn and Terri do a great job at Physicians Plus – as they always have – and in time will achieve success on behalf of our members, customers, partners and shareholders.”
